Hello students! This is the Universal Student Council.
The Universal Student Council supports and oversees the activities of each faculty’s Student Council.
We gather the members of each faculty’s Student Council once a month to hold a “Student Council Meeting,” where we share information and conduct group work, among other activities.
The Student Council Meeting in May 2024 was held at “Learning Infinity Hall,” in Building H of the Ritsumeikan University Osaka Ibaraki Campus, which began operations in April 2024.
During the May meeting, we shared progress reports from each faculty, explained the Five Party Conference, and conducted a workshop where participants created surveys in groups. More than 30 participants from the faculty-student councils attended, including some who joined the councils for the first time in April.

After creating surveys and digital materials in their groups, each group made a presentation. They were able to utilize classroom technology, such as monitors, effectively during their presentations. It was encouraging to see many groups working with a clear understanding of the survey’s objectives.
This was a valuable opportunity for pre-practice in creating surveys and requesting student responses, which will be useful in future activities within each faculty’s Student Council.
