We are going to introduce that in the following sections.
What is the Ritsumeikan University Student Union?
We are Japan’s most prominent student self-governing organization, with all Ritsumeikan University students as members. Our philosophy is “Shaping Ritsumeikan with you”.
There are six main works.
① University-wide events (welcome events, school festival)
② College Co-creation Activities
③ Supports for Extracurricular Voluntary Activity
④ Financial Management
⑤ Election
⑥ Mutual Aid

What is the Central Part?
In the Student Union, a core group works at the core to carry out the six activities mentioned earlier. That is the “Central Part.”
The figure above is an organizational chart summarizing the central part. We will now introduce the organizations circled by the blue squares in the middle of this chart.

Student Council
Each faculty has a group known as the “Student Council”.
They represent each faculty and the student voice and work with the university to create a better faculty. It is like a student council in junior high and high school!
It also encompasses the Oritor-Enter group and provides support to new students!
・Those who joined the student council in junior and high school.
・Those who want to help fleshman.
・Those who want to obtain a special experience.
Central Administrative Office
There are six departments.
① Marketing Planning Department (circle management)
② Finance Department (budget)
③ University-wide Events Department (school festival)
④ Globalization Promotion Office (supporting international students)
⑤ Business Strategy Office (new works)
⑥ Public Relations Office（SNS, HP）
・Those who want to try various projects.
・Those who want to operate the school festival.
・Those who are good at supporting others.
Central Project Organization
It comprises three organizations (Ritsumeikan Univ. Press, Ritsumeikan Univ. Broadcasting Center [RBC], and Ritsumeikan Univ. Cheering Club).
Each of them is supporting students’ lives with their expertise.
・Those who belonged to the press, photo, announcement, brass band, or cheering clubs.
・Those who want to acquire some special skills.
・Those who wish to communicate with various people.
