Hi everyone, we are the Public Relations Office at the Central Administrative Office of the Ritsumeikan University Student Union.
Our purpose is to inform the student union members about the activities of the Ritsumeikan University Student Union and to help them learn more about it!

What is the Student Union? What is the Central Administrative Office?
We are the most prominent student self-governing organization in Japan, with all students of Ritsumeikan University as members. With our philosophy of “Shaping Ritsumeikan with you”, we contribute to the development and improvement of student life at the university and the development of the school and society through these activities.
The Central Administrative Office is one of the “central parts” that form the basis of the Student Union and is the administrative and practical organization, mainly supporting Extracurricular Voluntary Activities and organizing university-wide events (see the left side of the figure below).

What is the Public Relations Office doing?
The Public Relations Office is a department within the Central Administrative Office, primarily responsible for public relations for the Central Part of the Student Union.
It is also a new department, established in October 2024!
The department’s three main activities are updating SNS, operating HP and the Student Union Connect, and providing PR support to the various central parts’ organizations.
Updating SNS
We have official accounts on X and Instagram.
X is the first to deliver important notices, such as public announcements and communications related to university-wide events like Welcome Events and the School Festival.
Instagram posts focus on students working in the central part.
We were not in charge of the program when it opened in 2024, but we will be involved in its operation starting in February 2025!
Thus, X and Instagram posts about Extracurricular Voluntary Activities and central parts.

Assisting with Public Relations
Another activity is to assist with public relations for the various organizations belonging to the central part.
